word of mouth (or computer)

For this mode of activism to be effective, we really need to reach a lot of people and get a lot of brainstorming done. Therefore, I urge you all to please get the word out (AIM profiles and away messages are key) and contribute your ideas -- anything is game, we'll try to make it work. My idea is that we have a plethora of ideas floating around, and then put all our efforts into one of them, get it done, and move on to the next. I will be putting several links up to sites useful for different kinds of activism (music activism, civil rights activism, etc.) for those of you who need a place to get started.

My question for those of you reading this, then, is what is the most critical issue to you, as of now, that we need to tackle? Is it gay rights? Terrorism abroad? Clear channel and the RIAA? The crisis in Sudan? Surely, all of these issues trouble me -- but I'm beginning to realize my efforts will be much better spent in picking one and doing as much as I can for that cause.
